Jana Throckmorton developed Caring Companions
Senior Services in 2001, after being a mentor, counselor and advocate for
seniors in the private sector on a volunteer basis since 1993. She understands
that nurturing care, companionship and daily needs are sometimes difficult to
obtain as we age.
Ms. Throckmorton has vast experience in senior care and the services in
which she provides. She has a bachelors degree from Oregon State University
in Health Promotion and Education and is trained in the area of Senior
Ombudsman. Ms. Throckmorton is an avid gardener, cook, caterer, and enjoys
advocating for seniors. Caring Companions is a
local small business with strong roots in the Portland area.
